Storyfest: Hartfield Children’s Book Festival

Site Information

The festival site will open from 10am to 4pm, Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th May. 

FIRST AID St Johns Ambulance will be on site for the duration of the festival.

THE BOX OFFICE will be open from 10am each day, and is situated at the entrance to The Croft.  It will be selling the official festival programme and Festival staff will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. To collect pre-paid tickets, please bring your ticket confirmation with you.

LOST CHILDREN will be taken to the Lost Child Point, which is also situated at The Box Office. Please ensure your children have your mobile phone number so we can contact you.  This is an open site, please have your children in sight at all times. Storyfest cannot take responsibility for unsupervised children. 

CAMPING STOVES and BBQs are not permitted. 

LITTER is horrible! Please help us to be as GREEN as possible. There are many bins around the site separately labeled recyclables and non-recyclables, please endeavor to use these.

SMOKING  Due to the amount of tents and hay bales at the festival,  Storyfest is a no-smoking event.  Please refrain from smoking on The Croft.

DOGS We love dogs, we really do, but please leave them at home.  This is a family festival and we do not want  any accidents!  Please do not leave your dog in the car whilst you are at the festival. (Guide dogs only).

DISABLED TOILETS There is a disabled toilet next to the Village Hall, and another on The Croft.
